March already!

I've realised i'm getting worse at this. :(
But i'm a keep trying!

Anyway, I can't believe it's already march! Where on earth has the year gone so far? So many things to look forward to and they are just around the corner! It's my birthday on the 12th so I've got a party this weekend to look forward to, York for a birthday day out with my lovely mum :) and then a fab weekend in Newcastle booked for April! So excited...off to see example! Whoop! It's gunna be amazinggggg.

I'm super excited t start my degree soon too, although I know it's gunna be a challenge. But think its about time I started challenging my brain again.

Thank god the days are getting longer and the weather seems to be looking up too, was beginning to get sick of the cold damp winter weather. X

Been far too long!

It's been far too long since I last posted. So much for posting everyday! Need to get more disciplined.
Been quite a busy bee in my defence though!

Just signed up for an open university degree which starts in May, VERY excited! Criminology and psychological studies here I go. It's gunna be hard work working while I do it, but I'm looking forward to using my brain again and testing myself to be honest.

Been job hunting and working on my CV, my contract with my current job ends the end of April so need to start looking.

Booked tickets to see Example in April in Newcastle! Super excited! Booked a fabby apartment to stay in that weekend as well as a birthday treat!

Performed on Sunday night in an Open Mic, it was really good to start performing again, its been quite along time since I've played in public, but felt really good to get up there and go for it.

That's all for now really! Just bobbing along as usual, quite happily :)

Too Cold

It's so cold today, it's wet and horrible. I mean, I really don't mind the cold if there's sun as well, but when its wet and grey it just makes me not want to do anything. I guess it's okay if you can just snuggle up in front of a fire with a movie on - currently wathching The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud (not sure I'm keen on it yet but that's another post).

Although its the perfect excuse to stay in and blog though - something I really want to get on with :)

Also the perfect day for comfort food. Yummmyyyy! Cheese toastie. 

And candles :) - love them

Shes been swimming so shes all wet bless her. Shes only just turned one, her names Canna - named after an island in the hebrides that my parents love. Shes a sweetie. x
